Boss..
With your knowledge est how much boost can this block withstand since its bored/enlarged from a stock M15/16 block
Unlike factory finish M18 since it had thicker side wall
Can i safely say this block is better remain as NA (high compression) rather then force induct it?

As far as I know, the M15A or M16A can not be bore to 63mm, cuz the sleeve OD is very close to 86 mm. I asked TSD for the exact tech info, the block is modified then fitted with a new designed sleeve with bore 86mm and sleeve OD still bigger, that leaves plenty of wall strength.

The head gasket also a newly designed for the 86mm bore to assure best seal and withstand high pressure.

That's why we don't see a 86mm bore from M15/16 block as the block needs to be modified.

This TSD Sam Sport block 1.8L/1.9L will be stronger than M18A block. Turbo charge? you figure it out

accept credit card ah? :D
Yes we accept Visa/Master. I'll make it more attractive. EZ payment available for first owner but must add the bank charges on top of the 6.5k.

For serious inquiry please.

tritonite,

seems like a good price....TO me....cuz port & polish + EMU + bore TB + thicker gasket oso nearly set me for RM7000.

but we cannot use this block on the road brother...not approve....

if you can answer us, then you might convince me to visit your shop....

dvvt_sprinter,

This is a chicken & egg story. We can stamp the same engine number as your existing. Puspakom/JPJ officials cannot tell just by opening your bonnet and looking at the engine itself.

Many swift owners are bolting on turbo kit and I'm sure they're not going to get approval from Puspakom right?

Besides, it is still NA.

sounds logical, if you stamp same engine number how can casual fellas like us, tell if the number is ori from japan engine block casting factory or not.. (unless you verify with japan factory official)
it's not like rolex watch where there are few hundred references and pictures on how the serial number engraving should look like..

Excellent point there especially with the Rolex example.

Cheers!

from wut i know, adding turbokit do not require JPJ approval as it was not stated there.

NA or not NA, as long as you perform engine transplant etc, you gotta get it checked and approved else you will have probs with your insurance company when you (touch wood) got into a massive accident.

you would like to visit www.jpj.gov.my for more info.

Anyway, glad to see you have brought this in.

shud be able to scare those crappy B16A and bigger cc engine....add turbo I think can piss on EVO.....

B series Honda? Not even close to
Over here someone had tried a NA EG6 against TC ZC31 0.5b
The ZC31 got ripped off big time
Unless more money is thrown into the Swift 1.8/1.9L block for high boost

S'pore done up EK9

looking at TSD package,

1. is there anyway to opt for bigger TB but not utilising D-B-W tech for SS owner?

2. Is there anything can cure the 4k power/torque dip?

3. Since this is a whole rebuilt block, reliability come into question. Does TSD offer any warantty period? Dont want to be like those B20b vtec issue

TSD Sam Sport entered the 22/June/2008 Option Magazine cup race with a prepared 1.9L Swift and won the 1st place in street mod class.

TSD Sam Sport ran a clean 61.5 seconds to become the fastest Swift ever recorded at the TIS Taiwan track. Other Turbo Swift ran 63.5+ seconds.

so far the only device that can remove rev cut is Emanage Ulitmate by greddy-trust.

Other that EMU you will have to use stand alone ecu.
the device full name is call Apexi Rev Speed Meter. In short we call it RSM.

do a search in google will give u some result.

>400hp might be abit too ambitious. I mean it can be done but some invesment needed to pump in. If you got the pocket deep enough, yes you can achieve.

but for me, i won't go with 400hp. I've several TC ride before and with this chasis size, 400hp is abit too much for it to handle. you cant takcle corner well neither straight speed. Not to mentioned grip as launching will required a god damn skill. Not to mentioned streetability though.

But 250hp-280hp would be more then enough and very nice power ratio to use. In Spore, a couple bro's has done it with M15A. Few Spore bro's here could tell you for more
